‘Breathing’ has been accepted into the Royal Scottish Academy Annual Exhibition
For the second time within a year I have a piece hung in the Royal Scottish Academy galleries in the heart of Edinburgh. Visit the exhibition HERE.
I had a wonderful weekend at Dalkeith Country Palace last weekend. It was a collection of over thirty of the best contemporary British artists curated by the estate of the Duke of Bucchleuch. He himself bought one of my Breath Series drawings last year. Another of my pieces made it into the family this year, what an honour!
I love participating in the show and am hoping to be invited back in September.
I am delighted to be back at the Borders Art Fair. This is aways a joyous event full of wonderful artists and I am looking forward to seeing familiar faces and meeting new people, I hope you are one of them.
I have a 6-meter-long stand (number 62) packed full of new work much of which hasn’t been exhibited before.

The Wonders of Composition and Artist’s Talk
It’s more than just an art fair — BAF organise many activities around the event. Earlier this year I recorded a workshop on composition for BAF and an artist’s talk. It is all on their website for free, have a look at that and the other online workshops and events they have put together for us.
A previous winner of the BAF Best Exhibitor Stand prize, Gill will take you through the basics of the classical composition techniques that she uses in her own stunning work.”
Other news …

Road Trip is a collaborative artwork which has journeyed around Scotland connecting artists and communities during our year of Covid. I am one of the SSA Sattelite Associates for the Scottish Borders and, as such, began this project. The painting is being raffled to support the Sattelite Programme.
